Chemotherapy begins TODAY.

In an effort to thwart this tumor as quickly as possibly, the doctors have opted to begin Kyrie's chemotherapy treatments this afternoon instead of tomorrow. Especially since the lumbar puncture and scan showed another tumor in the lower part of her spine, which affects the bladder, kidney and lower extremities. Two types of chemo will be administered, vincristine and cytoxan, the latter being a very powerful drug that needs to be flushed out of her body quickly with detoxing adjuvant, mesna.

Over the next 36 hours, Kyrie will get as much of this chemo as her body can handle, and the doctor said that her hair will be gone in just three treatments.

Like many of you, I've been constantly thinking of and praying for Kyrie since this began. Today, might be a good day to pray a little louder.

Jordan and lacie,
Rebecca wanted you to know that her daughter, Alyssa, gave a report about Kyrie to her class and it touched a lot of people. The principal of Nelson school in Haysville is letting her put a collection canister in the office for Kyrie. Also, Rebecca has added Kyrie to the prayeer list at Colnoial Heights Assembly of God church on South Broadway. You remain in our thoughts and prayers.

Just wanted to let you know St. Pauls Lutheran day school will be praying for Kyrie. May God lay his healing hand on Kyrie's body and your hearts.

My daughter, Madison, is 2 and she prays for her "friend Kyrie" every night. I know God hears her prayers, before mine even. She prays that God will heal Kyrie's "owie" or "booboo". I know that the innocence of that prayer goes straight to God's heart. He hears. ~Kristina Baker

I feel honored to be involved in this miracle journey! Each day when I visit with you I see God working. We serve a BIG God and He can do BIG things!!! I know Kyire is being healed. We've got to ask God to give us what we need to get through each day. Don't think about tomorrow, just day to day. I love you all and send my love and prayers always,
Debbie
