Roll Call

I've been hearing that many of you check in on Kyrie's progress here on her site. That's fantastic! We need all the support we can muster. Jordan & Lacie check in, too, and they really enjoy reading your comments. So I thought today might be a good day for all of Kyrie's friends to meet each other by leaving a comment, maybe who you are and where you're from. You can leave a message for Kyrie or for Jordan or Lacie, for me or for the world. It's up to you!

So you won't be scared, I'll go first:

Hi, I'm Megan, Kyrie's aunt, from Kansas City, Mo. I'm so happy to hear that Kyrie has had several good days in a row now—lots of Bumbo sitting yesterday. Wa-hoo! Keep up all the great prayers everyone! It's working!

Okay, your turn. ;)

Hi! My name is Rebecca from Kansas City and my husband and I along with our 19 month old daughter follow little Kyrie's story daily. We will continue to lift this whole family up in prayer every day. Having a daughter the same age as Kyrie has really given me a heart to lift Jordan and Lacie up in prayer. I realize that the only way you can make it through this is with God's help and grace.

Good Morning! Aunt Nan, Cousin Ainsley and Grandma Annie (Wichita) all read this blog each evening to see how our baby Kyrie is doing! We pray for her recovery as well as pray for all of those that lift her up in their prayers! Ainsley has become the "prayer police" and makes sure those prayers go up on a regular basis!

Hi! We're Boone & Debbie, we've been friends of Lacie and family for a long, long, time. Boone married Jordan & Lacie, so we've come to love Jordan as family too.
Kyrie is so special to us all, even to her church family at Family Church here in Wichita. We absolutely believe we are witnessing a miracle in progress! We look forward to all the great blessings ahead. We love you all very much!!!!

Hi! My name is Sarah Fagan, and I live in the Kansas City area. I first learned about Kyrie through my friend Kristi Swob, who shared a prayer request for Kyrie during our women's Bible study. Because I have an 18 month-old son here at home, I have been especially burdened to pray for sweet Kyrie and for her mama and daddy. My little guy and I look at your blog each day (he especially loves the pictures of the "bebe" and her "doggie" pillow). I pray with him, using "kid words" while we're sitting at the computer together, but I can't tell you how many other times during the day my mind flashes to Kyrie and I am prompted to send up an additional prayer for her or her family. Kyrie's life inspires me to boldly and confidently come before the Throne of Grace each day on her behalf.

Hi, I'm Ashlee from Kansas City and Lacie and Jordon don't know me nor do I know them. Lacie's mom and my mom became friends at the quilt shop when Lacie and I were both pregnant (our baby girls are just 3 weeks apart). Kyrie is just adorable and so strong and the strength of your family is inspiring. I check Kyrie's blog each day (thanks Megan!) and we send our daily prayers for both Kryie and your family.

Just thinking about you all alot today. The new pics of Kyrie are great! It really is great to see that cute little smile again! Maddie is really anxious to see Kyrie again. Today she wanted to go to "MalMark"(WallMart). She told me she wanted to buy a toy four her friend Kyrie. We'll try a day next week or the next week to get these two beauties together again.
So proud of you Lacie and Jordan, for the stength and maturity I've seen in you, as you travel this most challenging journey. I love you, but God loves you all even more!
Many kisses and prayers--Debbie

Hi. I'm Melissa Schneider. I live in Cheney, Ks now, but I'm a fellow Clearwater native. Kyrie's Aunt Megan just happens to be one of my dearest and best friends. We've known eachother since way before we shared a boyfriend in second grade, so we go way back! :) I got to watch Kyrie's daddy grow up and I'm sure I had a part in making him as ornery as he is today. I love the Thome family and I just know that God is going to work big miracles for you! I have Kyrie's picture posted in my office and I pray for her constantly. BIG LOVE to you all!

Hello! I'm Jenni, Uncle Chad's cousin from Maryville, MO. I've been keeping close tabs on little Kyrie, and keeping her close in our prayers each day. We know all too well how cancer can affect a family, as my husband has stage 4 melanoma, and is also very sick. Cancer can do a lot of terrible things, but it can't take your spirit, dignity, love, moments together, or your faith. Many blessings for a speedy recovery and a healthy Kyrie.
