Wonderful things happening at the Kyrie Foundation!
Do you guys know about Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation? They started off small (Alex raised money to find a cure for cancer through selling lemonade)...now it's a huge pediatric cancer research funder. They might be good for you to talk to in terms of how they grew etc.
