We have ...

a logo!

Accomplished designer Julie Reed donated her time & talent to create a logo that symbolized what the Kyrie Foundation is about. We wanted it to be simple & uplifting, something identifiable.

We thought the metamorphosis of a butterfly--all the energy it embodies and the symbolism of good change--captured the spirit of our goals. And this isn't just any butterfly; ours has beautiful angel wings, to protect & guide, to soar as a messenger between us & heaven.

We hope you like it.

Love's perfect. I picture Kyrie's time here on earth much like that of watching a butterfly's visit to a flower garden...she fluttered into the lives of those who loved her. She shared beauty, love and joy with those who knew her. And all too soon, something stirred...something dangerous to her, and she was forced to fly away to her eternal home.

I think it's perfect...and I also think it would look GREAT on a t-shirt! :)

Can't wait for our first fund-raiser...I just can't wait!

Big love,

Will this logo be on the newly ordered T-shirts? I think that would be great for people to identify with if they are not familiar with Kyrie's story yet. They would at least make the cancer connection that has meaning to so many people! Can't wait to see you in a couple weeks.

Megan - it looks awesome - love the angel wings. It would look great on a T-shirt, but wouldn't want to replace the look of the front - maybe adding it to the back with the website on it would work well. Hope all is well with you and yours and I hope you have a fantabulous birthday!!
love, shelby

Hi, all!

For now the tees will remain the same. Our Web site on the back gives the opportunity to learn more, and of course, the logo will be on the site. That's not to say, though, that in the future, we won't have it on tees.

Just wait! We have more ideas planned for the little logo that could ... ;)

Dear Thome Family, I am reaching out to try to contact you because my niece's daughter has just been diagnosed with the same type of brain tumour as Kyrie. "embryonal tumor with abundant neuropil and true rosettes". Our family is in shock and trying to gather as much information as we can. Any information sharing you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
