9:00 a.m. Tomorrow

Kyrie's MRI is schedule for 9:00 a.m. tomorrow.

She still hasn't opened her eyes yet today. Doctors say that with severe, intense seizures, sometimes it takes children days or even weeks to come out of it completely. Or ... Kyrie may have had a stroke. Earlier this morning she stopped breathing for 10-15 seconds which could indicate a stroke. She had an EEG today, too. Jordan and Lacie do not have the results of that yet. The MRI tomorrow will check for signs of a stroke, plus look at her spine and brain tumors.

Even with all of that, this afternoon has been a bit better for Kyrie: no seizures, and Kyrie felt around for That and put it to her face. Soft mumbling for "mamma" and "dadda."

Please keep the prayers a'comin'.

I am so relieved that Kyrie's surgery went well yesterday! My refresh button is getting worn out! Prayers are coming for a good MRI tomorrow morning and for continued strength for Kyrie and her family!

Finally figured out this whole blog thing, maybe... Just wanted to say that I have been checking this site nearly daily and pray for your family all the time. Megan, you are so wonderful to do this for everyone. And I know that this was a few days ago when you asked for the small things you were thankful for, well, I am thankful for (and I thought I would never say this) messy kids' bedrooms. I know they drive me crazy, but sitting here thinking about this I realize that I am thankful for that because my kids are healthy enough to mess up their bedrooms. God Bless this wonderful family!!! love you all very much - shelby
