Kyrie is receiving her blood transfusion this afternoon. She still hasn't opened her eyes, but has moved a little and mumbled words.
Jordan said that the MRI showed tumors growing all up and down Kyrie's spine, in the cracks and crevices, and he was told that "it's one of the worst cases they've ever seen." The tumor in her brain is twice as big as the original tumor, before the surgery.
As far as a next step goes, Dr. Rosen will be seeing Jordan and Lacie tomorrow morning. Jordan said that he and Lacie wouldn't be opting for radiation because it's very painful (it burns the cells) and would leave insurmountable brain damage. No matter what, after Dr. Rosen's visit, they'll be leaving the hospital, either to pack for a trip to St. Jude's or to make her comfortable at home. Those last five words claw at my eyes and rip at my gut.
I'm heading to Wichita this evening, so I may not post like I normally would.
Words fail to convey the pain right now. It doesn't make sense, it isn't fair and even weeping an ocean couldn't alleviate the hurt. All I can do right now is ask that you not leave them. Please continue to pray. That's all we've got.

I love you all and I will continue to pray for you. My heart breaks when I try to imagine what you are dealing with. Just know you are in our thoughts. Let Gods peace that pass all understanding comfort you. Love Tina Harding
I'm just praying so, so, so hard for you all.
I love you all.

We are holding Kryie and your family up in prayer constantly. We cry out to the Lord and ask Him to relieve your anguish and heal your Kyrie.
It is not for us to know, but to trust the One who does.
Be steadfast in your faith. I would love to see her at St. Jude's, and I pray that God puts all the people and things in place to see some results soon.

I was just e-mailed the link to Kyrie's site today from a friend or ours when we used to live in Wichita. I was immediately drawn to Kyrie and her whole family as you all are in this battle for her. I have a daughter of my own and another baby on the way, and so my heart goes out to you. I can't even begin to fathom. I have passed on the link to this site to my whole address book asking them to also pray for Kyrie and her healing. I have seen prayer do amazing things, and have no doubt God can still do an amazing work in Kyrie. Know you have people praying for her and her entire family here in Atlanta, GA, TN, WI, and MN!
I can't even begin to understand the emotions that you are all feeling. I imagine these words were very hard for Megan to type today, but we do appreciate all that she is doing in trying to help us understand what Kyrie and her family is going through. As always, we're praying very, very hard for Kyrie, Lacie and Jordan.
We can never understand times like this, but God is aware of every little detail and we have a BIG God, who I still believe can absolutely heal that baby! With Easter approaching, this is the time about the resurrection. I believe Kyrie can be resurrected to a wholeness again! I'll never stop believing that for Kyrie. I love you all so much--Debbie
It has taken me all evening to even put into words the sorrow that we feel at the results of Kyrie's MRI today. We continue to pray for Kyrie and continued strength for Lacie, Jordan and the entire family. Kyrie is in our thoughts and prayers from the time we get up until we go to bed everyday. Please, please heal Kyrie.

Sending tons of prayers your way, I am SO very sorry!
